In case it isn’t obvious to you, the Chaos Controller is a concept, a metaphor. You won’t actually receive a remote with magical powers. So… no you can’t mute your kids or rewind your life for a do-over. Sorry to disappoint.  That said, each button represents a skill you will learn in the program, so it will be easy to recall your lessons and find the right button to support you in any given situation. 

Is a remote control analogy super cheesy? Yes. But I love cheese. 

Will I be abusing this metaphor and debasing myself for your amusement? Absolutely.

So who am I? 

 

Hi! I’m KC!

I’m a Holistic Happiness Coach, which means I’m a killer combo of life coach, yoga instructor, wellness advisor, planner, mindset coach, cheerleader, mindfulness teacher, spirit guide, and entertainer. 

(Essentially, I’m your personal happiness curator… here to teach you how to calm your thoughts, emotions, and body so you can build your authentically happy life.)

More importantly, I’ve been where you are and seen my way out of the storm. I know my strategies work, because I applied them all myself and tossed out what didn’t!  

So, there’s no need to be concerned: I’m legit and I know my shit.

I get it. I'm sure you have some hesitations.

This is an investment and impulsivity has bit you in the ass before. So let me address some concerns now:

 

How do I know if this program will work for me?

 

You don’t. But it definitely won’t work if you don’t try or if you aren’t all in. The strategies and methods I teach are backed by science, positive psychology, and decades of therapeutic practices. It’s also confirmed by my own life experience and those of my students.

 

Isn’t this just another task for my to-do list? I’m already so overwhelmed.

 

I got you, boo! It can seem overwhelming, because you’re conditioned to think of everything as a task… as another empty check box on your to-do list. 

I’ll teach you how to manage your thoughts, emotions, and actions to make you feel empowered and capable. In the end, you’ll feel like you have more time & less pressure… not another chore.

One thing that makes my coaching different is that I love to laugh, play and be silly. I weave this into my strategies so it becomes something you WANT to do, not something you HAVE to do.

 

Are you just going to tell me to “be positive” and wake up at 5am to have more time to get shit done?

 

I think I actually heard your eyes roll with that one.

I’m all about positivity, but it’s not going to change your life by itself. You will have to do some inner work and confront negative thinking, but you don’t have to buy a matching unicorn t-shirt to sit at our table.

No, I’m not making you act like a rooster and rise with the sun. I will, however, be helping you prioritize how to best use your day.

I’m deeeeeeefinitely not a morning person, so if I’m up at 5am there best be a plane waiting to take me to a beach somewhere!

 

Why would I pay you to tell me how to live my life?

 

Damn, your tone is getting hostile. I’m just trying to help.

I teach you how to manage your thoughts, emotions and actions to make you feel empowered and capable.

You are ultimately in control and determine what your life looks like. I’m just there to guide you.

 

Can’t I just learn this all on my own from books? why do I need the program?

 

Absolutely, and I’ll even make some book recommendations for you. Once you’ve finished learning about positive psychology, the science of happiness, the history & practice of yoga, DBT therapy, physiology, and neuroscience, I’d love to chat about it all.

Obviously, I’m being facetious, but it’s a lot to learn & you’re already so overwhelmed. Plus, I’ve added a ton of practices that you won’t find anywhere else. Why don’t you let me guide you through the program so you can spend your valuable free time doing more fun things?!?
